The Structure of Drilling Shale Shaker in KOSUN

The components of drilling shale shaker are mainly consists by six parts:

1.Screen

It was designed to remove the solid phase, is an important component for the drilling fluid recovering, the particle size of the solid phase for shaking depends on the size of screen mesh.

2.Buffer Tank

After drilling fluid flow back to ground from well bottom, it will flow into buffer tank of shale shakers, in which the flow rate will be reduced, and make the drilling fluid flowing through screen evenly and slowly.

3.Vibration Generator 

Vibration generator is a power source for generating a periodic excitation force, to create a continuous, periodic oscillations.

4.Screen Box (vibration frame)

For tensioning screen, support the vibration generator, and to pass the continuous vibration from the vibration generator to screen, so as to achieve the purpose of screening.

5.Base Supporting 

Base supporting is to support the above components, easy to install and transport. Shale shaker power transmission line from the power to the motor output shaft excitation (collectively exciter). This rotating eccentric mass and generate a periodically varying centrifugal force, supported by the damping force on the spring produce sustained vibration sieve box, forcing the surface drilling fluid vibrating shale shaker screen, smaller than the mesh solid particles and liquid back to the drilling fluid through the screen apertures, the solid particles didn’t throught the screen will be discharged to the discharge end, so as to achieve the purpose of solid-liquid separation.

6.Damping Spring

Used for supporting the buffer box and vibration generator, to ensure a sufficient vibration space of the screen box, to achieve the required secondary screen box vibration, and buffered and passed to the base and reducing the dynamic load fluid tank.
