KOSUN aiming at oil drilling fluid features, KOSUN designs KS DC450 Series Decanter Centrifuge as a kind of special equipment for solid-liquid separation, which is capable to complete such working procedures as feed, centrifugal sedimentation, discharge, etc. at a full speed, is mainly used to recover barite, remove fine solids, reduce solids content of drilling fluid, control density and viscosity of drilling fluid, and plays an important role in guaranteeing drilling fluid property and fast drilling.
The decanter centrifuge is used to separate suspension containing solid particles with particle diameter ≥2μm, solid concentration of 2~70% and liquid viscosity ≤0.01Pa•s and clarify liquid containing little solids, and is also applied to separation of amorphous materials with difficulty in filter cloth regeneration and of suspension with a large variation range in solid concentration. It is applied to the fields needing solid-liquid separation, such as petroleum, chemical industry, food, pharmacy, environmental protection, etc. and is capable to complete such separation processes as solid dewatering, liquid clarification, liquid-liquid-solid separation, size classification, etc.
Matters Needing Attention:
1.The flow rate of suspension may not exceed 40m3/h, or it is easy to cause overload or liquid may be discharged from the underflow port of centrifuge, resulting in waste.
2.When using the centrifuge in a temperature below zero in winter, thoroughly drain remaining suspension out of all connection pipelines after shutdown, and keep the centrifuge free of water.
3.Before use in winter, manually turn the belt pulley to check whether seizure exists due to freezing. If it is frozen, use vapor or other methods to heat it till it rotates smoothly.
4.During running, do not open the bowl cover and belt guard.
5.Do not operate the motor with phase loss or open the electrical control cabinet during running.
The bowl of KS DC450 Series Centrifuge consists of cylindrical bowl and tapered bowl. There are 8 or 6 liquid discharge outlets distributed in the circumferential direction of big-end plate of bowl, and the liquid level is controlled by movable weirs. For various needs of different materials and separation dryness, the liquid level is adjusted by relative positions of movable weirs: the larger for R value, the shorter for sedimentation area, the longer for drying area and the drier for solids separated. Conversely, the longer for sedimentation area, the less for solids content of liquid separated and the wetter for solids. There are 22 solids discharge outlets lined with hard alloy bushing blocks evenly distributed at radial double rows of small end of tapered bowl.
