Application of Jet Mud Mixer in Drilling Fluid

Oilfield jet mud mixer is usually installed at the end of the complete solids control system, or we could say that it is a unit placed besides the mud tank and used together with the solids control system. Unlike shale shaker, mud cleaner and decanter centrifuge, it doesn’t separate the large solid particles from drilling mud. However, it is still not ignorable.

1. Oil drilling mud jet mud mixer is a single jet mud mixer combined with 45 Kw (or 55 Kw) drilling mud centrifugal pump and a jet mud hopper or a double drilling mud jet mud mixer of two pumps and two hoppers.
2. The weighting hopper can be combined with a pump or be used independently with manifold valves with pump.
3. Put the drilling fluid materials (bentonites, barite powder) and the corresponding chemical additives (polymer) into drilling fluids circulation mud tank for increasing the total.

This device can satisfy the fluid weighting and mixing of drilling solids control system for 1500m-9000m drilling.The drilling flow into the jet pump with certain pressure, in the jet pump fluid spouts out from jet nozzle first, then flows into shear pipe through mixing chamber, material will be added from hopper to mixing hopper, and move into shear pipe with the flow. During this process, they are dispersed and mixed. The mixture will enter into mud tank when flows out of the shear pipe.
