Or it’s because filtering screens are not installed on the water tap which is used to clean desander and desilter. So when install the tap, do make sure that it is fixed on the correct position and with all spare parts needed.

And mud lost is still a common faults in solids control processing. This may probably because the drilling mud feeding capacity is bigger than what the shale shaker needs, high density and viscosity of the drilling mud, fine mesh of the screen or many other wastes get into the drilling mud. These are all common problems caused drilling mud lost.
