Drilling Waste Treatment and Disposal Oilfield Drilling

General,drilling fluid is in the oil drilling process, the use of loop holes flushing medium, also known as the drilling fluid. The follwing are the drilling mainly function:

1.Cooling drill hole bottom clean with cuttings;
2.Lubricate drill;
3.When the stop drilling cuttings suspension, protect the hole wall to prevent collapse, balance the formation pressure, suppress the high-pressure gas-water layer;
4.Delivery of core, passing power machine for the hole bottom hole bottom rock crushing power needs, etc.


A direct impact on the performance of the drilling fluid drilling speed, mine safety, and reservoir protection plays an important role, a good drilling performance is an important guarantee for the smooth progress of drilling operations. Meanwhile, Waste oil exploration and development drilling fluid generated during the formation cuttings containing drilling fluid handling hazardous materials, etc., if the direct emissions on the environment and ecological cause great harm, safe disposal of drilling waste management fluids also important. Therefore, this article on oil drilling in the field of engineering technology and new applications of drilling fluid disposal techniques are analyzed.

Drilling waste is one of the main pollutants in the oil drilling industry of the world.In recent years, forced the world demand for energy, leading to increasing types of drilling fluids, additives and toxic ingredients are increasing, its composition is extremely complex. However, with the world to improve environmental protection requirements, sound drilling waste management has become a serious problem. This paper analyzes the composition of the waste from the drilling fluid and the harm to the environment, technology and methods for disposal of waste at home and abroad in recent years, various oilfield drilling were reviewed.
